We're partnering with a long-established engineering firm to recruit a CNC Punch Press Operator/Programmer for a permanent role. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced machinists and those looking to start their engineering career.

You'll be setting, operating and/or programming CNC Punch Press machinery to produce high-quality components used across multiple industries. Entry-level candidates will receive full training, while experienced operators can step straight into programming responsibilities.

• Operating and programming CNC Punch Press machinery
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Setting up tooling and running machines efficiently
• Checking components and maintaining quality standards
• Working to tight tolerances
• Supporting general fabrication and workshop tasks

Experienced Candidates:

• CNC punch press experience (e.g., Amada, Trumpf)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Quality-focused and able to work independently

Entry Level Candidates:

• Practical, hands-on and eager to learn
• Reliable and able to follow instructions
• Any workshop or mechanical experience is beneficial
