* Early:
Monday–Friday, 6:00am–1:50pm

* Late:
Monday–Thursday, 1:40pm–9:30pm / Friday, 11:40am–7:30pm

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist Setter/Operator to join their precision engineering team. You will be responsible for setting, operating and monitoring CNC machinery to manufacture high‑quality components to exact specification. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical ability, attention to detail and a commitment to producing outstanding work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Set up CNC machines including mills, lathes, routers and related equipment.

* Read and interpret engineering drawings, job specs and work instructions.

* Select and install tooling, fixtures, jigs and materials.

* Carry out first‑off inspections and make necessary adjustments.

* Conduct in‑process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM and other tools.

* Ensure all parts meet required tolerances and quality standards.

* Adjust offsets, correct tool wear and make minor programming edits as needed.

* Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication.

* Maintain safe working practices and a tidy environment in line with 5S.

* Record production data including scrap, downtime and tool changes.

* Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.

Skills & Experience Required:

* Proven CNC machining and setting experience in a manufacturing environment.

* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

* Strong understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak).

* Competent in inspection and measurement techniques.

* Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.

* Able to work independently and effectively within a team.
