Salary: £12.21 per hour

Shifts:

Monday to Thursday, 5am-3pm OR 7pm till 5am

Our client, a food manufacturer, is looking to recruit Production Operatives on a temporary to ongoing basis.

Duties and responsibilities for the role of Production Operative
 
* Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes, ensuring consistency in food preparation
 
* Operate and monitor machinery such as mixers, ovens, and conveyor belts to ensure they are functioning correctly
 
* Manually or using machines to shape products into specified forms
 
* Load the products into ovens and monitor cooking times and temperatures, ensuring products are cooked to perfection
 
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards in terms of size, shape, and appearance
 
* Clean equipment and work areas to maintain hygiene standards and perform basic maintenance on machinery
Person specification for the role of Production Operative
 
* You will have experience in a production, warehouse or manufacturing environment
 
* You will have good attention to detail
 
* Able to follow strict health and safety procedures
 
* Able to work as part of a team
 
* Able to hit production targets in a fast-paced environment
