We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Margate. This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Working as part of a supportive production team, you will assist in the assembly and manufacture of high‑quality products while following established processes and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Following work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
- Carrying out assembly and production tasks to required quality standards.
- Supporting various stages of the manufacturing process.
- Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensuring products meet company quality requirements.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
- Reporting any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
- Assisting in other areas of the operation as required.
- Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail.
- Flexible approach to work and responsibilities.
- Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
- Experience working with small components.
- Basic soldering or electronics assembly experience.
- Understanding of quality-focused production environments.
- Ability to undertake repetitive assembly tasks.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to sit for extended periods where required.
- Capable of lifting and moving items up to 11 kg (25 lbs).
- Good eyesight, including close detail work and colour recognition.
- £12.71 per hour.
- Monday–Friday working hours.
- Immediate start available.
