We are currently seeking a Production Operative to join a busy and growing manufacturing business based in Margate. This is a temporary ongoing role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Working as part of a supportive production team, you will assist in the assembly and manufacture of high‑quality products while following established processes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Following work instructions and manufacturing documentation.
  • Carrying out assembly and production tasks to required quality standards.
  • Supporting various stages of the manufacturing process.
  • Maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensuring products meet company quality requirements.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production targets.
  • Reporting any issues or defects to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
  • Adhering to all health and safety procedures.
  • Assisting in other areas of the operation as required.
Candidate Requirements Essential
  • Positive attitude and strong willingness to learn.
  • Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Flexible approach to work and responsibilities.
Desirable
  • Previous manufacturing, production, or assembly experience.
  • Experience working with small components.
  • Basic soldering or electronics assembly experience.
  • Understanding of quality-focused production environments.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to undertake repetitive assembly tasks.
  • Good hand‑eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods where required.
  • Capable of lifting and moving items up to 11 kg (25 lbs).
  • Good eyesight, including close detail work and colour recognition.
