We are delighted to be working with our Client based in Thanet who are looking for a detail-orientated Production Operative to join their team.
Location:
Thanet, Kent
Job Type: Full-Time – Monday to Thusday 8:00am – 5:00pm and Friday 8:00am – 12:45pm
Salary: £12.71 per hour
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operative to join a growing electronics manufacturing team in Thanet. This role involves supporting the production of high-quality electronic products through assembly, inspection, and manufacturing processes while adhering to strict quality and safety standards.
The successful candidate will be responsible for following documented work instructions, maintaining excellent workmanship, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production department.
Key Responsibilities:- Follow written instructions, technical documentation, and manufacturing procedures relating to the production of electronic products.
- Undertake assembly tasks and manufacturing activities to meet production schedules and quality requirements.
- Participate in training across all areas of production, including assembly, testing, packing, and dispatch.
- Ensuring products meet required quality standards and specifications.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets and customer expectations.
- Escalate production, quality, or equipment issues to the Production Supervisor or Manager in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and committed approach to work.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or production.
- Experience working to quality standards and manufacturing procedures.
- Familiarity with health and safety requirements within a production environment.
