What You’ll Bring Required
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical, environmental, or civil engineering, environmental science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal air quality programs, including Title V and RECLAIM.
- Experience in environmental consulting or industry, with familiarity with regulatory agencies such as SCAQMD and other local air districts, along with state and federal programs.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, stay adaptable, travel when required, and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Strong capability to interpret and apply environmental regulations and agency guidance.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work with global teams.
- Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality client service and contributing to business growth.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing experience.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and skilled in time management.
- Team-oriented with a client-focused approach and drive for continuous growth.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle, as the role involves frequent travel.
- This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
- Experience working with regulatory agencies such as Maricopa County Air Quality, Pima/Pinal County Districts, Arizona DEQ, or other Southwest regulators.
- Strong technical expertise in emissions inventories, permitting, and compliance evaluations; familiarity with pollution control systems is advantageous.
- Knowledge of water, wastewater, and waste management programs.
- Field experience in air compliance monitoring, inspections, and permitting; additional experience with stormwater inspections, SWPPP updates, HMBP preparation, or wastewater permits is a plus.
- Strong ability to interpret environmental regulations and guidance documents.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and computational skills.
- Proven experience managing projects and building long-term client relationships.
- Advanced MS Office capabilities, especially in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Develop emission inventories, permit applications, and compliance reports.
- Conduct regulatory applicability assessments and implement compliance management systems.
- Perform fieldwork, including air compliance evaluations and multi-media inspections.
- Coordinate with regulators and clients to facilitate timely permit approvals.
- Promote a strong culture of safety, collaboration, and high-quality project execution.
