Staff Accountant

Overview

The Futren Hospitality is looking for a full-time Staff Accountant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring smooth accounting operations across multiple entities.

• Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes including review of weekly invoices, preparation of weekly operating statements, payroll processing, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statements; provide backup support to the Accounting Assistants.
• Perform heavy data entry, maintain various account records, and exercise discretion and independent judgment in daily tasks.

• Ability to lift heavy boxes up to 50 pounds

Accounting Degree is required (Associates or Bachelor’s). Minimum of 2 years in accounting field. Hospitality/private club experience preferred. Ability to multitask, detail oriented, excellent computer software skills (Jonas and Sage HRMS software a plus), self-motivation, and ability to set priorities and meet various deadlines.
