Andretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join the Team!
Position OverviewThe Accounts Payable Specialist is a key member of the Andretti Indoor Karting & Games finance team. It’s a full time, salaried role, based at the Marietta Corporate support center. The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for performing a range of accounting and clerical tasks related to the accounts payable function. This generally includes receiving, processing, and verifying invoices, tracking and recording purchase orders, and processing payments.
All positions are responsible for following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality, professionalism and guest satisfaction.
- Sort and distribute incoming mail and email.
- Process incoming invoices for approval.
- Process 3-way PO matching invoices.
- Apply payments.
- Audit and process credit card bills.
- Respond to vendor inquiries.
- Set-up new vendor accounts, including ACH/EFT payment profiles.
- Reconcile vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies.
- Assist in month end closing, including reconciling across multiple systems.
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices.
- Assist with other projects as needed.
- Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions.
- Display excellent communication skills.
Andretti Indoor Karting & Games (AIKG) is a rapidly growing Family Entertainment company. Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States
- At least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma
- 2+ Years Accounts Payable experience
- Intermediate Excel user (including multi-layer pivot tables, VLOOKUP, grouping)
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data entry and analysis
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures and chart of accounts
- Strong problem-solving skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to communicate quickly, accurately and effectively verbally and in writing
- Detail oriented, professional attitude, a reliable problem solver and self-starter
- Must own tasks, proactively communicate and ask for help when needed
- Ability to quickly adapt and change as business needs change
Ability to perform mathematical calculations accurately
- Experience with Coupa platform
- Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central
- Experience with relational table reporting, report merging and analysis
- BS degree, or specialized certificate in accounting
