Staff Accountant

STAFF ACCOUNTANT

We have been engaged by a small-mid sized, well established company in Cobb County in a search for an experienced Staff Accountant. The company is owned by a large, stable company and offers a competitive compensation/benefits package, track record of promoting from within, and wonderful, family‑oriented culture.

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for month end close, financial reporting support, reconciliations, journal entries, Accounts Payable backup, sales tax returns, GAAP compliance, and fixed asset accounting.

The right candidate for this Corporate Accountant role will have:

• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 3+ years of Accounting experience
• Understanding of GAAP, GL accounting, AP, and fixed asset accounting
• Preference given to those with sales tax return experience.
• Strong Excel proficiency and aptitude for systems
• Desire to learn and grow
• History of job stability
