Key Responsibilities:
- Support new audit client onboarding and engagement setup
- Participate in risk assessment, planning, fieldwork and audit completion
- Prepare work papers and audit documentation using Thomson Reuters Engagement
- Prepare audit schedules and reconciliations
- Perform substantive testing and analytical procedures
- Analyze financial information and identify potential risk areas
- Prepare federal and state individual and business tax returns using Ultra Tax
- Support bookkeeping and financial reporting using Quick Books
- Assist with federal and state compliance and year-end reporting
- Research audit, accounting and tax questions
- Collaborate with accounting, advisory, payroll and operations teams
- Contribute to special projects and financial report preparation
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field
- 3+ years of audit, accounting and/or tax experience
- Comfortable working across audit, tax and accounting
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and audit procedures
- Public accounting or external audit experience is a plus
- CPA or EA is a strong plus; candidates actively pursuing CPA are encouraged to apply
- Thomson Reuters Engagement, Ultra Tax and Quick Books experience is a plus
- Strong Excel, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Fast learner with strong follow-through and collaboration skills
