Dental One Associates is looking for a Dental Hygienist Assistant in Marietta, GA to join our clinical team. Hours: Mon–Thurs 8 am–4 pm;
Fri 8 am–2 pm.
Position Overview: As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you support the office and assist the professional dental staff during treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities- Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
- Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
- Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
- Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
- Support the hygienist with patient scheduling, treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
- Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
- High school diploma or GED (Required).
- Associate degree or certification in Dental Assisting (Required).
- 2 years of hands‑on experience in a dental office.
- Radiology certification (Required).
- CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail‑oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
