Dental Hygienist Assistant – Marietta, GA

Dental One Associates is looking for a Dental Hygienist Assistant in Marietta, GA to join our clinical team. We are committed to providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team‑based environment. Hours: Mon–Thurs 8 am–4 pm;
Fri 8 am–2 pm.

Position Overview: As a Dental Hygiene Assistant, you support the office and assist the professional dental staff during treatment. Candidates must have prior dental assisting experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and set up treatment rooms, ensuring cleanliness and proper sterilization.
  • Assist Dental Hygienists during patient treatment progress.
  • Update patient health history and chart treatment progress.
  • Expose and develop radiographs (if certified).
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff to manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments.
  • Support the hygienist with patient scheduling, treatment recommendations and office recall systems.
  • Perform routine tasks while ensuring compliance with industry regulations including HIPAA & OSHA.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED (Required).
  • Associate degree or certification in Dental Assisting (Required).
  • 2 years of hands‑on experience in a dental office.
  • Radiology certification (Required).
  • CPR certification (Preferred but can be obtained upon hiring).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail‑oriented with a commitment to patient care and comfort.
