Looking for a 3-day workweek without giving up full-time benefits? East Cobb Family Dentistry is looking for an experienced, energetic Dental Assistant to join our growing team.
This position is 24 hours per week, primarily Monday through Wednesday
, and qualifies for our full-time benefits package
. Some Saturdays may also be available for team members interested in additional hours.

Schedule- 3 days per week / approximately 24 hours per week
- Primarily Monday through Wednesday
- Some Saturdays available
- Full-time benefits eligibility at 24 hours per week
- Consistent schedule with excellent work-life balance
- Monday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Thursday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM
- Sunday: Closed
- Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Anticipate the doctor's needs and assist efficiently throughout treatment
- Take dental X-rays
- Prepare and turn over treatment rooms
- Maintain sterilization and infection control standards
- Assist with digital workflows and scanning
- Fabricate temporary crowns
- Assist with implants and clear aligner treatment
- Educate patients and help create an excellent patient experience
- Work closely with the clinical team to keep the schedule running smoothly
- Minimum 2 years of dental assisting experience
- Strong chairside and clinical assisting skills
- Experience with Open Dental preferred
- Experience with iTero preferred
- Implant assisting experience is a plus
- Clear aligner experience is a plus
- Ability to fabricate temporary crowns preferred
- Dependable, energetic, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced dental practice
- $20–$27/hour

Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum one-year related experience and/or training or the equivalent of a combination of education and experience in the dental profession.
- Valid X-ray certificate.
- Current license if CDA, RDA, or EFDA (per state requirements).
- CPR & first aid certificate.
