Vaccine Instrumentation Apprentice Program – 2026
GSK Apprenticeships are full‑time, entry‑level opportunities that allow high‑school graduates and first‑year college students (with fewer than 36 credits) to begin their career while studying toward an associate degree, fully funded by GSK. All apprenticeships are registered with the Department of Labor and employers receive a certificate of completion upon successful completion.
Education Requirements- High‑school diploma or equivalent by June 2026
- High‑school GPA ≥ 2.8 (“B”) on a 4.0 scale
- High‑school Algebra & Geometry or two equivalent units of academic math with GPA ≥ 2.8
- High‑school English with GPA ≥ 2.8
- High‑school Biology & Chemistry with GPA ≥ 2.8
- Less than 36 college credits
Written and spoken fluency in English.
Preferred Requirements- Studied AP Biology or Chemistry
- Studied more than one life science
- Studied High‑school Physics
- Studied High‑school Pre‑Calculus
- Studied engineering, technology, robotics, shop or STEM‑related courses
- Must be 18 years of age by August 1 2026
- Less than 2 years of related work experience since high‑school graduation
- Willingness to enroll, and meet entry requirements, at a GSK partner community college or technical institution in the preferred instruction course
- Ability to commute daily to the GSK worksite and instruction facility (maximum 60 minutes one way)

What Will You Do?- Assist with complex manufacturing processes in a highly automated, regulated environment – ensuring quality, safety and accuracy
- Operate specialised, highly automated equipment to manufacture our products
- Monitor and analyse production processes and data using instruments and control systems
- Work in teams to continuously improve the functionality of automated equipment and processes
- Operate in a compliant manner to ensure safety and environmental protection
- Adopt a safety‑first, quality‑always mindset
- Contribute to a continuous‑improvement environment, participating in daily tier meetings and scheduling needs as applicable
- Ensure all documentation (logbooks, etc.) are complete and accurate
- Complete all GSK‑required site, EHS, instrumentation, regulatory and global training
- Ability to follow directions and complete daily assignments with minimal supervision
- Capability to handle basic repairs and maintenance tasks independently
- Willingness to support more complex projects under guidance of experienced technicians
- Interest in developing skills in instrumentation and metrology through OJT and formal GSK training
