Adjunct Instructor – Intensive English Program (Marietta Campus)
Job SummaryPerforms all aspects of instruction for the non-credit Intensive English Program under the supervision of the Associate Director of the program. Evaluates student progress in attaining goals and objectives. Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports for CTC pertaining to student attendance, progress, and recommendation for next level of study.
Teaching Schedule- Classes taught on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 2:15 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
- Position duration:
January 12, 2026 – March 5, 2026.
Adjunct Instructor positions are temporary, part‑time positions appointed on a per academic term basis. Employment is limited to the term and there is no expectation of extension beyond this term.
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited four‑year college or university in education.
- At least one year of experience as an ESL instructor.
- TESOL certificate.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and online educational platforms.
- Salary $915.00 per course / $28.60 per hour. One course is 8 weeks, 4 hours. Five courses taught per week yields $4,575.00 for the 8‑week term.
- All employees are paid by direct deposit.
