Assistant Professor Of Accounting

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, tenure track faculty position as Assistant Professor of Accounting in the School of Accountancy with a preferred start date of August 2027. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
Teaching expectations are in undergraduate and/or graduate courses in the areas of accounting. Scholarship/Research expectations include activities leading to publications in quality refereed journals. Service to the Department, College, University, and/or professional community. Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.

A terminal degree, or its foreign equivalent, from an AACSB accredited institution in an Accounting discipline (such as Accounting Information Systems, Auditing, Tax, Internal Auditing, and/or Financial Reporting is required at the time of hire. Must demonstrate effectiveness in teaching, service, and in research activities leading to publications in quality refereed journals.

Licenses, certifications, or professional memberships such as AAA, AICPA, CPA, or similar. Evidence of scholarship/creative activities Experience teaching on-line or hybrid courses Record of past teaching at either the undergraduate or graduate level Post-doc experience Prior success in obtaining extramural funding.
