Alternative Delivery Structural Engineer II

• Analyze and prepare project designs, calculations and drawings for steel bridges, pre‑cast and pre‑stressed concrete bridges, cast‑in‑place flat slabs, and miscellaneous structures, with guidance provided on complex matters
• Approach tasks with a project mindset, including coordination with other disciplines throughout the project and proposing innovative solutions that align with project scope and goals
• Assign, track, and review tasks of technicians, designers, and engineers, ensuring adherence to project schedules and QC of final work products
• Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review; perform independent peer reviews on team work products
• Review contract plans and calculations from other engineering teams and outside entities to verify completion and compliance with governing structural design codes and contract specifications
• Potential to serve as the Engineer‑of‑Record for mid‑size and miscellaneous structural designs
• Effectively present proposed design solutions in internal project meetings and contribute to presentations with external parties
• Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates, technical proposal support, and participating in marketing campaigns
• Ensure timely completion of timesheets, expense reports, and labor hours management
• Take ownership of personal and team career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to learn and teach new skills, and setting and pursuing goals
• Contribute to the development of team members through mentorship and modeling positive behaviors

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• 6+ years of experience
