Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited term faculty positions in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering for the academic year .
The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) provides programs that equip students with in-demand technical and professional skills, including electronics, computing, communications, power, sensing, and controls. We offer ABET-accredited Bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering, along with a Master's in ECE and a PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering.
Our students are well-grounded with hands-on experience in modern engineering labs integrated with faculty-taught lectures. We help students spark their careers via internships in the technology industry and research with our expert faculty, and amplify students' technical and non-technical skills via leadership in professional societies and collaboration in engineering competition teams.

Job Summary
:
These positions are on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials.
Responsibilities
:
- Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Electrical and Computer Engineering areas including circuits and electronics, electromagnetics, signal processing, digital design, embedded programming, and networking.
Required Qualifications
:
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
- OR A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications

- Relevant industry experience
- Prior teaching experience
