In this position the successful candidate will be responsible for the development of training requirements and implementation of courseware to instruct aircraft maintenance, including simulation and scenarios used for customer training. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing and instructing highly creative training courses for existing and new systems. The ideal candidate will provide all aspects of maintenance training to the customer personnel at various locations.

The candidate will provide aircraft maintenance support to brief and train aircraft maintenance on Aircraft and Ground Systems capabilities and operations. Candidate will work with engineers to design, implement, evaluate, and document training and technical publications.

The successful candidate must have experience in utilizing technology-based multimedia applications applying both innovative concepts, methodologies, and technical skills, using multiple media tools for development of applicable courseware to include latest research trends in graphic design, software and training development techniques. Demonstrate Implementation of latest instructional design trends in graphic applicable training aids.

Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, equivalent experience considered.
  • Candidate must have extensive experience with developing, planning, and facilitating training.
  • Candidate must have prior military aircraft maintenance experience.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance Required

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time:
The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
