Our client, a medical device company, is seeking an R&D Engineer for a role in Atlanta, GA.

• Lead New Product Design efforts, driving development of new products in the pipeline and managing existing products.
• Conduct Voice of Customer + clinical immersion, CAD, prototyping, development of test protocols, technical methods, drafting test reports in a document-controlled environment.
• Manage Sustaining Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain for existing products (Project Management).
• Perform benchtop Verification and Validation Testing – Provide engineering support for released products.
• Design optimization, feature updates, product modifications, manufacturability improvements.

• BS in Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Background in design, development, and manufacturing of medical devices (familiar with 21 CFR 820).
• Strong CAD skills (components, assemblies, drawings) – Fusion
  360 or Solid Works.
• Good communicator, highly motivated, strong ownership.
• Self‑starter/independent, well organized, curious, problem‑solver.
• 2–5 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

• Primarily office setting (in‑person) with some work in a healthcare/surgical environment – ability to get credentialed for the healthcare/surgical environment.
• Able to commute to office in Marietta.
• Lifting requirements < 25 lbs.

• Business hours 8 am–5 pm EST Monday–Friday; may require work outside these hours.
