Your Impact In this role, you will make a direct impact on our customers and stakeholders by developing and integrating cutting‑edge manufacturing technologies that deliver novel capabilities and substantial cost savings across production systems. As a technical expert, you will influence every stage of the product life cycle—from design, development, testing, and implementation to the ongoing maintenance of advanced processes and business‑analytics tools.

You will also be uniquely positioned to identify improvement opportunities, foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, strengthen the overall team and site performance, and generate financial benefits for Lockheed Martin as a creative engineer on our team.

Key Responsibilities Serve as a subject matter expert on complex automation, robotics, and mechanical systems.

Provide technical leadership and guidance internally to AMT team members, and externally to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Enable understanding and achieve stakeholder alignment for complex concepts through strong technical communication.

Engage in direct collaboration with shop‑floor personnel to prototype, test, and validate new technology concepts.

Execute project‑management functions for technology development & deployment projects, including budget and schedule oversight, status reporting, and cost‑benefit analyses.

Gathers information concerning the capabilities of company products; investigates the technical capabilities of company products and competing equipment; stays abreast of developments in hardware and software; analyzes customer problems; assists in designing systems to satisfy customer needs. Prepares equipment analysis to instruct sales force and customers in equipment capabilities. May prepare and present sales proposals.
