Our staffing firm is partnering with a client in North‑West Metro Atlanta to identify an experienced Controller with a strong background in healthcare, distribution, or biotech industries. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a strategic, detail‑oriented leader to oversee all aspects of accounting and finance, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and operational excellence.

• Direct and manage all accounting functions, including general ledger, payroll, cost accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and revenue recognition.
• Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and corporate deadlines.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, providing financial insights and solutions aligned with corporate strategy.
• Ensure compliance with multi‑state tax regulations and act as the primary liaison with external tax consultants.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and liquidity to support growth initiatives.
• Maintain adherence to FDA, ISO, CMS, and other regulatory standards within the medical device sector.
• Lead audits and collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Implement and enforce strong internal controls, policies, and procedures.
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to drive informed decision‑making.
• Manage ERP and financial systems to ensure scalability and integration across business functions.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high‑performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.

• CPA certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (MBA or Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Controller or VP of Finance.
• Proven experience in healthcare, medical device, biotech, or distribution industries.
• Expertise in ERP systems (JDE preferred) and advanced proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong strategic thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
