Role Overview: The occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are provided across the continuum, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.

• Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and revise individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and families.
  • Implement therapy activities, educate patients/families, and provide discharge instructions and referrals.
  • Evaluate patient progress, establish treatment goals, and create discharge plans.
  • Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational efforts per departmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and adhere to ethical and confidentiality standards.
  • Maintain professional development through ongoing education and training.

  Qualifications:
  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid occupational therapist license and BLS certification.
  • Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
• Core Duties:
  Providing patient-centered care, ensuring safety, implementing infection prevention, and fostering a positive, respectful environment.
