We're looking for a detail-loving, people-focused Payroll Specialist to help ensure our teammates are paid accurately and on time. If you enjoy solving problems, working with numbers, and providing great customer service, we'd love to meet you.

In this role, you'll be a key partner to teammates and the Human Resources team, helping deliver a smooth payroll experience while ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies. You'll join a collaborative team that values accuracy, continuous improvement, and supporting one another's success.

Starting hourly rate $21-$24

Job Duties Will Include:
  • Process payroll accurately and on schedule.
  • Review payroll data including hours worked, pay adjustments, deductions, taxes, and benefits.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity within payroll and HR systems.
  • Respond to teammates' payroll questions with professionalism, empathy, and excellent customer service.
  • Support payroll audits, reconciliations, and year-end processes, including W-2 preparation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance team member experience.
  • Stay current on payroll laws and compliance requirements.

Qualifications What Success Looks Like

You're someone who takes pride in getting the details right, enjoys helping others, and can be counted on to meet deadlines. You'll thrive in this role if you're proactive, adaptable, and committed to creating a positive experience for every employee.

Required Qualifications
  • 2+ years of payroll processing experience.
  • Strong understanding of payroll practices, taxes, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Willingness to work towards FPC or CPP certification.
  • Experience processing multi-state payroll.
  • Experience with UKG a big plus! but not necessary
