Job Description Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software.

Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.

Basic Qualifications Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to Obtain a Top Secret

DoD 8140/8570 Certification Level II (Security + CE, CySA+, CISSP)
Dev Sec Ops  expertise with hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code(Ansible, Kubernetes, Terraform), and GIT version control

Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), with strong command-line and system administration skills

Expertise in Microsoft Windows operating systems, including Windows Server 2016/2019 and Windows 11

High understanding of system hardening and security management, including hands-on experience with vulnerability remediation tools and platforms such as Nessus, McAfee, WSUS, Ivanti, Splunk, and SCAPStrong experience in on-premises virtualization technologies, including VMware ESXi/vSphere

Comprehensive knowledge of enterprise storage and backup solutions, including EMC Unity and Data Domain Proficient in managing enterprise storage environments, including Net App/EMC systems, tapemanagement solutions, and disaster recovery strategies

Desired Skills Active Secret Clearance (strongly preferred)
• CompTIA A+ Certified IT Technician
• CompTIA Network+
• Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
• Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA)
• Symantec Technical Specialist (STS Backup Exec 2012)
