Commercial Insurance Account Manager
Location:
Marietta, GA | In-Office Position
An established insurance agency is seeking an experienced and motivated Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join its growing team in Marietta, Georgia. This is an in-office position focused on developing new commercial insurance business, building strong client relationships, and providing exceptional service to business owners throughout the community.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial insurance sales, strong knowledge of business insurance products, and the ability to identify coverage solutions that meet clients’ needs.
Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial insurance accounts.
- Build and maintain relationships with business owners and referral partners.
- Analyze clients’ insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage solutions.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and coverage reviews.
- Work with carriers to obtain competitive quotes and coverage options.
- Manage the sales process from prospecting through policy issuance.
- Collaborate with agency staff to ensure excellent client service and retention.
- Maintain accurate client records and sales activities.
- Stay current on commercial insurance products, underwriting guidelines, and industry trends.
- Minimum of 5 years of commercial lines insurance experience.
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, including:
- General Liability
- Commercial Property
- Business Auto
- Workers’ Compensation
- Professional Liability
- Umbrella/Excess Liability
- Proven sales and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities effectively.
- Active Georgia Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Experience working with AMS agency management systems.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Established network within the local business community.
- Experience with account rounding and cross-selling commercial insurance products.
