Job Title: Field Operations Manager
Department: Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations / Regional Manager
Location: Field-Based
Job SummaryThe Field Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing day‑to‑day field operations and ensuring security personnel are properly staffed, trained, licensed, and compliant with company policies and client requirements. This role serves as a liaison between field staff, clients, and senior management to maintain high‑quality security services.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operations & Staffing- Oversee daily field operations across assigned client sites
- Ensure all posts are properly staffed and covered
- Conduct regular site inspections and performance evaluations
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and call‑offs
- Supervise, coach, and evaluate field supervisors and security officers
- Enforce attendance, communication, uniform, and conduct standards
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary actions
- Maintain consistent communication with field personnel
- Serve as a primary point of contact for client concerns
- Address and resolve client complaints promptly
- Ensure compliance with post orders and client‑specific requirements
- Participate in client meetings, audits, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations
- Verify and maintain required licenses and certifications
- Review incident reports, daily activity logs, and documentation
- Support investigations and corrective actions
- Ensure personnel meet licensing and training requirements
- Conduct quality assurance audits
- Recommend operational and training improvements
- Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll accuracy
- Coordinate with HR on employee documentation
- Prepare operational reports for management
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in security operations or field supervision
- Proven leadership and personnel management skills
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Active Guard Card in good standing
- Valid License to Carry / Firearms Permit as required by state law
- Ability to maintain all required licenses throughout employment
- CPR / First Aid certification (preferred or required within designated timeframe)
- Prior law enforcement experience (local, state, or federal)
- Prior military service (any branch), especially in leadership or security roles
- Experience managing armed security personnel
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs
- Field‑based role with some administrative office duties
- Reliable attendance and consistent communication
- Compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements
- Professional conduct and leadership at all times
- High‑quality service delivery and client satisfaction
