Outpatient Psychiatrist - Atlanta Area

Position: Outpatient Psychiatrist -Greater Atlanta Area

* Provides onsite psychiatric care that is timely and appropriate and/or medical evaluation for patients to determine treatment needs.
* Offer medication management and ongoing care consistent with current practice standards.
* Provides concurrent documentation in the EMR in an accurate manner which is consistent with Geode procedure and applicable standards.
* Deliver services using telehealth applications to provide remote health care when appropriate.
* Provide leadership, collaboration, and training to nurse practitioners and physician assistants.
* Document and navigate EHR independently and in a timely manner.
* Work collaboratively with clinical leadership, billing, and compliance to ensure accurate and appropriate documentation.
* Board certified in Psychiatry.
* Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine.
* A proactive approach with a strong work ethic and desire to participate in a collaborative environment.

* Working Conditions:

*** Standard office environment with occasional travel to client locations.
* May involve evening or weekend hours to accommodate client schedules.
* Potential exposure to stressful situations and emergency scenarios.
* Fine finger coordination required for typing, pressing objects such as utilizing laptop/mouse for documentation purposes
