Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Primary Care Extended Hours - Marietta, GA

Wellstar Health System is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join Wellstar ECHP Primary Care, located in Marietta, GA.

Work Shift: 7 a.m.–7 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. Various (United States of America).

Preferred Experience: 1 year of advanced practitioner (APP) experience.

Clinical Functions

• Provide quality care to all patients under your service in a safe and efficient manner.
• Collaborate to develop and utilize Evidence‑Based Medicine (EBM) protocols for targeted diagnosis.
• Cooperate with and participate in quality assurance, risk management, peer review, grievance procedures, and utilization control mechanisms implemented by the Medical Group and its affiliates.

Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:

• Conduct thorough medical histories, perform complete physical examinations, initiate appropriate lab orders, radiology tests or other diagnostic tests required for evaluation of illness, and evaluate laboratory data on new and former clinic patients and hospital admissions to establish a record of the patient's current health status and to develop a working diagnosis and treatment plan.
• Work as part of multidisciplinary care teams.
• Educate patients regarding their disease and treatment plans.
• Serve as a clinical preceptor for PA/APRN students and other health professionals.
• Refer patients to specialists as appropriate for consultation or for specialized health resources and treatment.
• Provide virtual healthcare as required.
• Other duties as assigned and appropriate by training and experience.

1 year of APP experience preferred.
