Registered Nurse (RN) – Acute Care (Med-Surg)

📍 Marietta, GA
🕒 Full-Time | Night Shift
⏰ 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced Acute Care / Med-Surg team on full-time night shifts. This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in dynamic environments, value teamwork, and are passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across a diverse adult population.

As a Med-Surg RN, you’ll play a vital role in patient recovery, safety, and outcomes—serving as both a clinical expert and patient advocate.

Patient Care & Clinical Excellence

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based nursing care using the full nursing process.
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition across a variety of medical and post-surgical diagnoses.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions safely and effectively.

Collaboration & Communication

• Work closely with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to coordinate care plans.
• Promote clear communication, compassionate interactions, and patient advocacy at all times.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record.

Quality, Safety & Outcomes

• Practice in alignment with clinical standards, safety protocols, and ethical guidelines.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
• Support a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

Professional Growth

• Maintain licensure and certifications; complete mandatory and ongoing education.
• Stay current with best practices, research, and clinical guidelines in Med-Surg nursing.
• Contribute to a positive unit culture by mentoring peers and supporting team success.

Required:

• Graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing

Preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

(All required upon hire unless otherwise stated)

• Active RN License (Single State or Multi-State Compact)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• National specialty certification – Preferred

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, acute care environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Comfort with clinical technology and electronic documentation
• Calm, composed response to urgent and emergent situations

• Consistent full-time night schedule (7p–7a)
