Job SummaryHow would you like to work in a changing position where your work is appreciated by many? We are looking for a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse who enjoys variety and different rewarding work every week. This is a Full-time opportunity on our float team involving assignment to various Wellstar Medical Group practices within a specified region. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) functions under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor and provides care for the patient under the physician's direction.
This includes preparing patient for exams, assisting during treatments, coordinating tests and follow-up care, and recording treatment in medical record. You will assist with patient and family education and perform other duties, as necessary.
Minimum Education
- Graduate from a practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current/active license as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
- Must have current BLS card from the American Heart Association prior to hire date.
- 2 years of previous healthcare experience is required, with 1 year working in an ambulatory, outpatient setting.
