Director of Wellness

Brickmont of West Cobb is hiring an experienced Director of Wellness. As the Director of Wellness you will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care. The role requires an RN or LPN with strong communication skills, hands‑on leadership, and proven success in management.

• Plans, organizes, develops and directs the overall operation of the nursing department to ensure the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Manages the health care of all residents, including the dissemination of information to families and staff.
• Assesses residents on a scheduled and as‑needed basis, records significant conditions and changes; responsible for nursing department 24/7, shares on‑call duties.
• Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned.
• Educates and trains care staff.
• Communicates with physicians and family members as appropriate.

• Maintain a current RN or LPN license in the state.
• Minimum 5 years of Nursing Experience.
• Minimum 3 years of management experience.
• CPR/First Aid certified.
• Experience working with people with dementia.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Experience working with an electronic health record system.
