Registered Nurse – Acute Care – MedSurg; Nights

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care (Med Surg), responsible for delivering high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team. They utilize evidence-based practices, perform the nursing process, and ensure individualized care aligned with clinical standards and patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care sensitive to cultural diversity and patient goals.
• Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and updates.
• Coordinate safe, quality care and ensure proper documentation, fostering teamwork and respectful collaboration.
• Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives.
• Support resource planning, protocol development, and clinical outcomes improvement.
• Mentor and serve as preceptor to other nurses and healthcare staff.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Current RN licensure (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of approved nursing program.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills.
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and respond effectively to emergencies.
