Location: Marietta, GA & Roswell, GA | Full-Time | On-Site
Compensation:
Hourly Pay: $18-$22/hr + Commission: 1% of net sales (top performers average ~$1,000/month in commission)
We're partnering with a fast-growing home improvement retailer that serves homeowners, renovators, and contractors with high-quality building materials most notably entry doors, molding, and other in-demand products. These stores move fast, customers make big purchasing decisions, and the team is investing heavily in improving its sales experience and culture.
We're searching for a Retail Sales Associate who are energetic, engaging, and ready to own the customer experience from start to finish. If you love people, enjoy driving sales, and want a role where you can grow into higher-level phone or e-commerce sales-this is your lane.

What You'll DoCreate an Outstanding First Impression: Greet every customer with energy, interest, and a genuine desire to help.
Guide Customers Through Big Purchases: Many buyers are making $3,000-$5,000 decisions your job is to educate, advise, and close.
- Drive Sales Both In-Person & Over the Phone:
- Walk customers through available options
- Send quotes or product links via text/email
- Follow up on undecided buyers
- Answer inbound calls and convert them into opportunities
- Follow Up With Intention: A major focus is improving touch points after the customer leaves answering questions, clarifying details, and keeping deals moving.
- Use Simple Technology:
- Shopify POS
- Basic text/email communication
- Look up inventory, pricing, and product details
- Support Basic Store Operations:
- Keep the showroom clean and presentable
- Participate in light showroom upkeep (no heavy lifting)
- Follow standard policies for pricing, payments, and returns
Customers leave feeling taken care of and often ask for you by name.
You consistently follow up, close sales, and prevent opportunities from falling through the cracks.
You adapt well to product knowledge and hit your stride within the first 30-90 days.
Your monthly commission grows as your confidence and skills grow.
Ideal Background- Minimum 1 year in retail, inside sales, or customer-facing roles
- Experience in home improvement, hardware, flooring, doors, or building materials is helpful but not required
- Someone who thrives in a fast-moving, customer-heavy environment
- Someone comfortable talking to contractors, renovators, and homeowners alike
