Maintenance Mechanic

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining production machinery to ensure efficient and accurate operation. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:

• Set up and adjust production machinery according to specifications and production schedules.
• Perform routine adjustments to maintain machine accuracy and efficiency.
• Install, align, and level machinery components.
• Perform preventative maintenance on machinery.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions.
• Repair or replace defective parts and components.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
• Use measuring tools and instruments to verify machine accuracy.

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:

• Must take Basic Machine assessment.
• High level of mechanical inclination.
• Must possess 1 year of machine adjusting experience.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
• Work closely with production operators, maintenance technicians, and supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of machine adjustments, maintenance, and repairs.

Maintenance Mechanic

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools. (Must have your own tools)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
