As a Calibration Technician Level 2, you will perform on‑site and off‑site calibrations, maintain calibration records, and ensure compliance with traceability and audit requirements at customer sites.

• Perform equipment recall for equipment past due and coming due
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records for all calibration activities
• Maintain all calibration program related documentation to meet customer and TRESCAL requirements
• Ensure all calibration activities meet customer and TRESCAL traceability requirements
• Work with purchasing department to specify calibration requirements and coordinate supplier activities
• Retrieve equipment for calibration throughout the customer site where necessary
• Return equipment from calibration to proper locations throughout the customer site where necessary
• Perform calibrations on customer equipment
• Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs
• Communicate current status of all activities to customer
• Support customer audits as they relate to the calibration program

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Military calibration training preferred)
• 4 years previous experience in calibration; minimum of 2 years of Field Calibration experience highly preferred
• Military training or experience (PMEL or TMDE or GPETE or Electronics) OR an Associate Degree in Electronics (or related technical field); OR equivalent work experience & training
• Experience calibrating or working with several different disciplines of test & measurement equipment such as electrical, temperature, pressure, dimensional and torque
• Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540‑1 requirements
• Very good organizational skills, meticulous with details
• Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc
• Experience interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer experience
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
