- Administer and accurately record medication administration as prescribed by a resident’s physician(s) under nurse supervision
- Obtain, record, and report resident vital signs
- Manage medication supply
- Account for all medications ordered, received, stored, and administered
- Care for residents’ personal needs, safety, and comfort
- Assist residents with activities of daily living including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
- Aide in daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
- Observe and report changes in residents’ condition and status
- Conduct rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
- Assist in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and cleanup
- Six months of experience administering medication in a retirement community setting preferred
- CMA certification a plus, but not required
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with residents, families, guests, and associates in English
- Ideal candidate is caring, organized, and able to multi‑task
