Responsibilities- Perform equipment recall for equipment past due and coming due.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records for all calibration activities.
- Maintain all calibration program related documentation to meet customer and TRESCAL requirements.
- Ensure all calibration activities meet customer and TRESCAL traceability requirements.
- Work with purchasing department to specify calibration requirements and coordinate supplier activities.
- Retrieve equipment for calibration throughout the customer site where necessary.
- Return equipment from calibration to proper locations throughout the customer site where necessary.
- Perform calibrations on customer equipment.
- Prioritize workload to meet customer process needs.
- Communicate current status of all activities to customer.
- Support customer audits as they relate to the calibration program.
- Minimum education:
High School Diploma or equivalent; military calibration training preferred. - 4 years previous experience in calibration; minimum of 2 years of experience of Field Calibration experience highly preferred.
- Military training or experience (PMEL or TMDE or GPETE or Electronics) OR an Associate Degree in Electronics (or related technical field); OR equivalent work experience & training.
- Experience in calibrating or working with several different disciplines of test & measurement equipment such as electrical, temperature, pressure, dimensional and torque.
- Working knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 and ANSI/NCSL Z540‑1 requirements.
- Very good organizational skills, meticulous with details.
- Strong communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office (Word & Excel), Internet research, data entry, etc.
- Experience in interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner and providing an excellent customer experience.
