Multicraft Maintenance Technician

, a highly regarded manufacturer of extruded plastics and industrial films is seeking a Electrical Multicraft Technician to join our team in Marietta, Ohio. This position demonstrates superior performance with electrical and instrumentation functions and tasks, and the application of one or more additional craft skills (i.e. mechanical, welding, pipe fitting and machining) to install, fabricate, troubleshoot, repair, move and maintain a wide variety of production and related equipment, facilities equipment, buildings and systems.

As a Electrical Multicraft Technician you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting a wide range of manufacturing equipment and control systems in a three (3) shift production facility.

• Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
• Perform mechanic skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material, and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with electrical systems up to 480 volts, control systems and PLC’s preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, drawings, and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, water and steam systems.
• Must be able to work any shift and weekends as necessary to support production and plant needs.
• Must be able to work safely around manufacturing equipment in a drug‑free work site.

• While performing this job the employee is required to talk and hear.
• This position is very active and requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing (stairs and ladders).
• The employee frequently lifts and/or moves items up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.

Pro Fusion Industries offers a starting pay of $25.96. Upon completion of 30 calendar days, new associates will be eligible for health insurance benefits. After the completion of 720 hours worked, associates will become eligible for additional benefits and have their pay increased to $28.84 per hour depending on experience.
