Overview

Target is a place where team members help families discover the joy of everyday life. The role focuses on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment, store cleanliness, and providing in-store and digital solutions to drive adoption and guest loyalty. The role includes assisting guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pickup, and drive up while maintaining high service quality.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience by delivering the service standard.
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and assisting with daily tasks.
• Engage with guests to solve specific needs and resolve concerns.
• Inform guests of current promos, store activities, and events.
• Know the tools, products, and services available to help guests and improve their experience.
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target.
• Promote Target Loyalty programs and assist with sign-up as needed.
• Scan and bag items efficiently and in compliance with safety standards and company best practices.
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy.
• Explain how to use features in the Target App, including Wallet, and direct guests to Order Pick-Up, Drive Up, and online ordering options.
• Handle returns following policies and collaborate with leaders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and stock supplies during store hours.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety, and compliance in all activities.
• Operate safely and report hazards; follow safety policies and trainings.
• Support guest services such as Order Pick Up and Drive Up, complying with relevant laws.
• Other duties as needed based on business needs.

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office tasks as needed.
• Safe and efficient handling and stocking of merchandise, with standard lifting expectations.
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) with reliable attendance.
• Ability to stay mobile for an entire shift and work in varying temperatures and conditions.
• Compliance with all policies and procedures related to Drive-Up, carryout, and other services.
