Insight Global is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S. Navy. The role involves using software such as Navisworks and DDAM to conduct finite element analysis, attending high‑level Navy meetings to discuss project progress, meeting deadlines, and ensuring NAVSEA compliance.

• Conduct FEA analysis on the foundation of the ship and its design.
• Utilize Navisworks, DDAM, and other CAD/CAE tools for ship design validation.
• Attend high‑level Navy meetings to report progress and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Ensure project scope, deadlines, and NAVSEA compliance are met.

• 0-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA); college‑level experience acceptable.
• Background in maritime shipbuilding and whole‑ship design preferred.

Hourly rate: $26–$32.
