Insight Global is currently searching for a Scoping Cell Engineer 2 for a large shipbuilding client supporting the U.S. Navy. The role involves handling the change process for the Navy's initial design, scoping impacts on hours and materials for engineering changes, updating equipment lists, and preparing daily technical modification orders for electrical, structural, mechanical, or outfitting changes to vessel designs. Work will be performed on-site at the client location.

The hourly rate for this role is between $32–$38 per hour.

Location:

Marinette, WI (on‑site).

• Handle the change process for Navy design changes.
• Scope the impacts on hours and materials for engineering process changes.
• Update equipment lists.
• Prepare daily technical modification orders for electrical, structural, mechanical, or outfitting changes.
• Assess how design changes affect the department of their specialty.

• Strong AutoCAD experience.
• 4+ years of shipbuilding experience in structural, electrical, piping, HVAC, or outfitting.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably in the specific discipline.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ship or maritime experience.
• MUST be on-site.
