Service Provider

Responsible for providing support and assistance, individually and/or in a group setting, to clients within our programs. Responsible for the supervision, training, and personal care needs of clients while they attend Goodwill Possibilities Program and/or Work Center.

• Provides assistance in various settings to individuals, ensuring they learn at their own pace and in a positive, safe environment. Services include health and wellness, functional social skills, leisure and recreation, job exploration, and community access.
• Maintain accurate records of hours and services provided; document daily.
• Implement new and existing curricula for Possibilities.
• Provide transportation for individuals served, as requested.
• Maintain confidentiality, personal privacy, recipient rights, HIPAA, and other similar practices.

• Implement safety procedures and ensure the safety of individuals; report any unsafe working conditions observed.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Develop community relationships, awareness, and knowledge of activities that strengthen community integration for the persons that Goodwill Industries serves.
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

• Working knowledge of social concerns pertaining to service.
• Working knowledge of the principles of human growth and behavior.
• Ability to develop and carry out service plans for the individuals we serve.
• Ability to establish and maintain positive, healthy relationships with the customer, their families, and all affiliated agencies.
• Ability to maintain CARF standards of performance.
• Ability to work as part of a team and/or work individually.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one-year experience in a human services program or related education.
• Must have a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
