This Level III Trauma Center provides comprehensive respiratory care to patients across the lifespan. The hospital uses EPIC for charting and is well-equipped with modern respiratory support technology.

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to neonatal through geriatric patients with a variety of respiratory conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience

• First-Time Travelers: Considered upon review

  • BLS

  • ACLS

  • PALS

  • NRP

  • CRT or RRT

• COVID Vaccine: Required

• Assist with intubations

• Ventilator management and monitoring

• Administer nebulizer treatments

• Manage BiPAP and CPAP

• Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) collection

• Provide respiratory support across all hospital units as needed

• Patient Population: Neonate to geriatric

• Patient Ratio: 1:1

• Staffing: 2 Respiratory Therapists per shift

• Support: House Supervisor available 24/7

• Charting System: EPIC

• BiPAP: V60s, V30s

• Ventilators: Puritan Bennett 840

• Transport Vents: Hamilton, Enve

• Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend

• On-Call: None

• Orientation: 1 shift to learn unit flow

• Time Off: Not approved during contract

• Holidays: Expected as per facility needs

• Floating: Throughout the hospital
