Maintenance Technician

Shift: 2nd (2:00pm - 10:00pm) or 3rd Shift (10:00pm - 6:00am)
Pay: $24 - $31 per hour

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of all machinery and some electrical wiring, as well as other related functions.

• Oversee/assist all utilities pertinent to manufacturing needs – including power and gas.
• Troubleshoot various mechanical and minor electrical issues.
• Perform mechanical repairs on all production equipment and conduct preventative maintenance duties.
• Use measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, depth mic, surface gage, dial indicators, etc.) and hand tools at high frequency.
• Operate engine lathes, mills, drill presses, and grinders to create tooling, jigs, fixtures, and gauge.
• Fabricate using welders, grinders, oxy/fuel torches, and plasma cutting equipment.
• Change bearings and oil seals; rebuild gearboxes requiring hydraulic presses and set‑ups.

• Communicate daily activities and problems to management.
• Periodically clean equipment.
• Maintain facilities and EHS items (light bulbs, filter changes, fire extinguisher checks).

• Excellent time management, problem‑solving, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient computer skills, including ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; effective at all authority levels.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Adaptability to changing requirements with minimal workflow interruption.
• Familiarity with OSHA and environmental laws/requirements.
• Consistency and personal accountability are essential.
• Adequate knowledge of blueprints and.
• Must own essential tools.

• Prolonged sitting, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Exposure to machines, chemicals, and normal hearing and vision (with or without correction).

• 3 – 5 years trade experience required.
• Maintenance Technician degree/certification preferred.
