360X Staffing is currently hiring Seam Welders for a high-precision marine industry project in Marinette, WI. This role requires 1G and combined 2G/3G weld test certification on carbon steel with X-ray testing for quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities:Perform structural welds on 3/8" carbon steel plates (12"x12") using .052 flux-core wire
Use ceramic tape backers for root pass support
Ensure welds meet X-ray quality standards for structural integrity
Follow detailed welding procedures and safety regulations
Work from written specs and visual diagrams to produce high-quality seam welds
Troubleshoot and adjust welding parameters as needed
Required Qualifications:Certification and proven experience in 1G and 2G/3G welds
Skilled in ceramic tape backer support and flux-core welding
Ability to consistently pass X-ray testing requirements
Strong attention to detail and commitment to welding precision
Solid understanding of welding techniques and safety standards
Able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
