Position Overview
Whole Health Solutions, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Travel Per Diem On-Site Solutions Independent Nurse Practitioner or Independent Physician Assistant to join our team in Waupaca and Marinette WI. Optum is a clinician‑led care organization that is changing the way clinicians work and live.
Note: This role is primarily on‑site, though offers virtual, remote visits as needed. Mileage and travel reimbursement provided for travel over 40 miles from home address. The role covers PTO and leave for APC's during clinic hours.
Locations and hours
Waupaca Foundry:
Mon‑Thurs 7am‑6pm & Friday 7am‑3pm
Marinette Foundry:
Mon‑Tues & Thurs‑Fri 7am‑5pm

- Deliver the highest quality primary care services
- Wellness and Preventative Physical Exams
- Acute care of minor illness and injuries
- Chronic Disease Management and Longitudinal care
- Minor procedures (suturing, splinting, incision/drainage, etc.)

- Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the ANCC/AANP or certified as a Physician Assistant through the NCCPA
- 2+ years of experience working as a nurse practitioner providing services in a primary care or family practice setting
- CPR certified
- Clinical experience primary care or family medicine
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $43.22 to $77.21 per hour based on full‑time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
