The City of Marinette Department of Public Works is accepting applications for a Forester to manage and maintain the City’s urban forest, parks, and right-of-way tree population. This position offers the opportunity to make a visible impact in the community by helping keep our parks, neighborhoods, and public spaces safe, healthy, and beautiful.
Under the direction of the Superintendent of Public Works, the Forester plans and performs forestry, arboriculture, and landscape maintenance activities including tree planting, pruning, removals, inspections, equipment operation, and public interaction. The Forester may supervise crews, coordinate contractors, assist with grant projects, and respond to storm or emergency events. SalaryInformation
The 2026 hourly pay for this position is up to $33.45 / hour. This position is eligible for the annual COLA pending City Council approval.
Job DetailsThe typical work schedule is 40 hours a week, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (hours outside of normal schedule may vary based on seasonal and emergency response).
