Systems Engineer

This position will provide technical leadership and support to our Operations Section to ensure less downtime and greater efficiencies, specifically within the tester. As our System Engineer your principle duties will consist of:
Maintaining and continuous improvement of Andon, PLC, HMI, and manufacturing systems, develop code to connect automated equipment to SQL databases, interpret data, and reports, troubleshooting of existing machine downtime issues and developing long term countermeasures for future builds, support mass production and other new launch activities as necessary, using experience with PLC's, touch panels, time studies and TPS

AEIL is searching for a self-starter with excellent skills in communication and organization. Must be highly motivated with exceptional organization skills, able to multitask, and a good communicator. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to interact and work as a team at all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required. Detailed knowledge of VBA, C++, C Sharp, or similar is a plus as well as knowledge of SQL Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Windows Server, HMI, PLC (Mitsubishi and Omron).

Knowledge of sensors, controllers, robot (IAI, Fanuc), VMWare is also helpful.

• Bachelors of Science 4+ year degree.
• The university issuing the degree must have H.L.C. & A.B.E.T. accreditation.
• Accepted Engineering or Engineering Technology degrees:
  Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Systems Technology, Computer Software Engineering, & Information Science.
• Five Years of prior experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Valid passport for travel required.
• Solidworks or other CAD drawing software experience preferred.
