The paramedic will respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, delivering high-quality patient care and customer service within the prescribed scope of practice, established protocols, and company policies. They will oversee task performance of EMT partners and make or approve decisions requiring interpretation of clinical delivery and company policies. The paramedic has primary responsibility for the operation of the assigned unit.
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $24.11 - $33.75

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent; some previous work experience in EMS healthcare is preferred.
- Paramedic training and licensure as required by the state of assignment.
- Valid State Driver’s License.
- Certification in Cardiac Life Support (CPR).
- Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Provider Certification (must obtain within 6 months of employment).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Language Skills:
Effective verbal and written communication skills, with appropriate grammar, vocabulary, and word usage.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division—in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
