DescriptionJob Overview:
Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, fluoroscopy exams, CT, and related quality control. Ensures patient comfort and safety, maintains equipment sterility, and performs other duties such as scheduling, producing x-rays, transmitting studies, and equipment cleaning. Requires an associate’s degree from an accredited program, ARRT registration, and a current IEMA license.
Compensation: Hourly Range - $27.50-$41.25
Experience: One to three years preferred; new graduates acceptable. PACS and OR experience preferred.
Education: Radiology Technology training from the U.S. Military or an accredited Radiation Sciences program.
Licenses/Certificates: ARRT certification required;
Illinois IEMA license within six months; BLS certification upon hire.
